2. Palpitations

Abnormal cardiac rhythms or heart rates are referred to as arrhythmias.
An arrhythmia may result in palpitations. An arrhythmia does not, however, cause the majority of palpitations. They might be the odd skipped beat or a momentary shift in the rhythm or pulse of your heart that lasts for a few seconds. Your chest or neck may experience palpitations. Your heart may feel like it is hammering, skipping, racing, or fluttering as a result of them.

Exercise, worry, stress, caffeine, nicotine, cold medications, and fever are a few examples of typical palpitation causes. Palpitations may be caused by an arrhythmia if they are happening more frequently or severely. Heart failure and atrial fibrillation are two cardiac diseases that can cause arrhythmia.
